This family-friendly museum features a diverse collection of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities that encourage visitors of all ages to cultivate an interest science and technology, specifically aviation. Visitors can explore the history of aviation, the science behind flight, and Aomori Prefecture's role in the history of aviation. The museum, along with the adjacent Misawa Sky Park, hosts an impressive display of aircraft that span decades of aviation history, including a replica of Misawa's own Miss Veedol. Special events are held on the weekends to spark children's interest in science and technology, and allow them to challenge themselves.
